I quite hate these guys. They’re always quite lame, not really funny and just a bit rubbish at what they’re trying to do. This guy was great. I think he was supposed to be Charlie Chaplin, but he spoke so I don’t know. I’m aware Charlie Chaplin could speak, but it doesn’t come across well in silent movies.
I loved that he was just sat there eating pasta. Struck a pose when I got my camera out, though. It was the funniest thing he did all day (whilst I was watching).
Normally when you see road works, it’s all boring pneumatic drills and tarmac laying. Not this bad-boy; this is a beast of a drill. Nothing particularly special, but I like the framing, the colours and the overall industrial feel - even considering it was taken right outside a hairdresser!
I absolutely need some new lenses. A Nikkor 70-200mm f2.8 VR and a Sigma 10-20mm f4.5-5.6 would be lovely. Thanks!
