Inside this building rocks. It’s quite difficult to take photos during the day because so much light gets through those windows. They turn on these cool lights, and it’s really peaceful after everyone’s gone so this is the perfect time to take photos - if you can dodge security. Which I can’t.
I found it really hard to decide between three I took tonight, so here are the other two. I’m still not sure which I prefer, and this might change when I look again!

Having looked, I think I made the right choice - photos with other people’s art as subject matter don’t really hold any validity in my eyes and, although it’s a cool effect, I think it’d feel wrong having this as a photo for the whole day (though there have doubtless been far worse attempts, go on as you mean to go on, I say!)!

So, on August 12th, I started work on the new do1 site. The big pimpin’ gentleman in the yellow is the designer/owner of the new site and there’s a reason he’s looking smug. Aside from the fact that we managed to turn around this monolithic site in under a month (complete with my first proper Wordpress integration and my first real foray into mootools), it has turned out totally awesome (even if I do say so myself!). The powerhouse in grey with crazy eyes is Krzysztof, the legend who leapt in on release day to tie up loose ends with me.
Whilst this has not been the application-oriented site that I’m used to, it is an HTML and CSS beast, with transparency and javascript animation coming out the whazoo. Needless to say, I’m quite proud of myself aside from a couple of small things that I want to tidy up (namely full Opera and Firefox 2 support).
This all went down on Monday, after a 17.5 hour day, which metaphorically put me on my ass to the extent that I’ve had today off work. Quite convenient, really, when you consider that the Sky man’s coming to fit a dish today. Almost as if I’d planned it!
Enjoy the new do1 site, and let me know what you think/if you get any errors (unless you’re in Opera or Firefox 2)

This was going to be an awesome rear sync photo of James wandering down a hallway at work. It didn’t turn out that way because of my minimal flash power, but it’s still nice that this could have been an art gallery!

Yup, it’s quite quiet in these hallways of a morning. Still, easier to get stuff done that way!

So, I spoke previously about do1 moving into new offices. I had chance to take some more photos that I thought I’d share.

We’re at the bottom in the middle (below)

And we have a lake…

Which can sometimes be seen in black and white!

So, my boss is quite upset that I don’t mention the awesome digital design/development agency, do1 I work for on my blog, so here’s a dedicated post. do1 has moved to the fantastic office complex 1000 Lakeside and we love it! There’s grass and amenities and space to play football and our office looks so cool.
That having been said, we do occupy a worrying percentage of the unwashed youth constituent there. We think we’re cool though!!
