When they get going, they playfight like crazy. This was just after midnight whilst I was trying to read. A little game of cat ‘n’ rabbit mediated by Darth Vader. This is kinda how it goes down - sometimes Amelie has the upper hand, sometimes Eva does:
Sleep-strikes are pretty unfair, though. Eva tends to play dirty.
Amelie has settled in really well, and she’s being so much better with Eva recently. I’m really not looking forward to leaving them, but they’re in good hands with Andy. I’ll have to make sure I’ve got loads of photos of them on my phone to look at whilst we’re galavanting around vegetarian restaurants, and getting holes poked in ourselves!
Eva seems to be grieving. She’s not eating a lot, not drinking a lot, being mopey and just generally making us quite sad. Her and Amelie seem to be getting on really well, though. Playing loads, leaving each other alone when they need to, chilling out together. It’s quite lovely to see them looking after each other.
I still don’t think I’ll get used to Teagan not being around. It’s so horrible to come through the door and only see one of them sitting there.
I didn’t take this photo, obviously. Charlotte was holding Teagan, and I was holding Eva when Teagan jumped up onto me for the fluffiest bunny hug I’ve ever witnessed. I’ve always wanted to do this, but they’re so antisocial I never thought it would happen! Rabbits are awesome!
This is technically a cheat, as I was too drunk to shoot last night, something I tried was shooting the rabbits but it didn’t work so I redid it! Stupid alcohol!
Black bunnies are really difficult to shoot, especially this shiny one! Because of the varying directions her hair grows in, odd shadows fall on her face, and parts of her go really shiny when there’s any lighting involved. That being said, she’s absolutely hilarious and can’t get enough of parsley so I thought I’d take some photos of her.
I also had a go at an HDR of a church I took a photo of on Saturday on the way to the pub, I think it works.
