Charlotte got some new cookbooks and made these awesome muffins. What’s not to like about “Caramel and White Chocolate Mud Muffins”?!

I need to exercise.

We bought this crazy stuff for the bunnies, I can’t remember what it’s called but they seem to quite like it.

34/365

So, it hasn’t been a very birthday-y birthday. I tidied the flat, I went to ASDA, I drove 120 miles to my parents’ house and I went out for a couple of drinks with Jake and Charlotte. I don’t really do birthdays anyway so I’m not particularly bothered by the lack of fanfare.

The photo is my birthday cake, except I’m not a huge fan of cake. I am, however, a huge fan of pizza so it’s a pizza. We also didn’t have any candles so I got 23 matches. We didn’t light the matches because we wanted to actually eat the pizza. There was 2 pizzas. I ate one of them. I can now say that I ate a whole birthday cake.

I am 23 today.

(I promise to take better photos when my life isn’t so unpredictable. For me, it’s enough that I’m actually using my camera. That was the point of this exercise)

I noticed that broccoli has quite a cool texture up close. Hopefully this gets that across.

Charlotte makes awesome burgers. These are relatively tame, we’ve been known to have egg and sausage as well but that’s a bit too much effort for a Friday night - as is wandering around in the rain looking for photos!

12/365

Tonight’s photographic festivities are brought to you by three of my favourite activities; taking photos, having Charlotte cook for me and eating the food that Charlotte cooks for me (I put some of the wings on, too!).

I really love food photography, but I’m personally of the opinion that the person taking the photo isn’t really the artist - the person doing the cooking is. That having been said, I love the photography on Jamie at Home and the Marks and Spencer adverts, so I thought I’d give it a go. I love food and I really like this shot, so I might do more of this!
