Moving house puts a strain on everything. About a month ago it started putting a strain on the finances, and about 2 weeks ago it started putting a strain on our relationship. It’s difficult because we’re both so lazy when it comes to house stuff, we literally finished packing about an hour ago, and there’s still stuff that’s not boxed.

I hate when my girlfriend and I “war” - we don’t tend to properly row, we just have length bouts of passive-aggressive violence where you’ll assume that everything’s ok, then one starts being patronising or flippant and the other makes it worse by being nonchalant or sarcastic (not necessarily respectively)! It looks now like it’s about to blow over, which is just as well as this weekend’s going to be hectic enough as it is. Not that anyone’s actually reading this, but I don’t know how long it’s going to take to get our internet all transferred over, so daily photos will be taken but not posted straight away. I can always use work’s, or go sit outside the Apple Store like all the cool kids do, though!

iPhone 3G is awesome, too - everyone should get one. I love using the Google Maps thing to tell me where I am, even though I already know that I’m sat on my sofa.

This is Richard. He’d better hope he’s able to get an iPhone 3G in the morning. He’s been outside the O2 Store on Above Bar Street in Southampton since 8:30am today and, for the life of me, I don’t know why. I guess it’s a pretty good anecdote.

The store opens at 8:02am tomorrow, and CPW opens at 7. I’ll probably be down there 6:30ish and just get one from wherever I can. An ex-Apple Store worker wandered past whilst I was chatting to Richard, and showed me the new firmware, Monkey Ball in the flesh and a cool-looking Carling mini-game. ‘Citin’!

Update: Spoke to Richard this morning whilst he was queuing outside the O2 store (I foolishly went to CPW, but we won’t go there today!) so I thought I’d update this post so he can see it *waves at Richard!*
